Gougler,

I have to disagree with Mike on this one. From your post it seems to me
like you're trying to send the URL to the document to someone else. The
format of the link is simply as follows:

http://servername/sites/rootsitename/doclibname/firstlevelfoldername/secondlevelfoldername/documentname

When you need to copy the URL, simply find the target document and right
click on it. From the popup menu, click Properties.
On the Properties windows that opens, simply copy everything in the Address
area.
NOTE: Sometimes the entire link is larger than what is displayed, so be
sure to copy all the text with a click and drag action.
Now simply paste that link into your email.

In addition, you can also think about extending your context menu's to add
the ability to email the document link from the context drop down menu.

I hope this is helpful.

Thanks
C
