Todd,

I think this is what we will have to do as well :-)

First however we are going to permute the (1) install sequence on a 'web
farm' parameter and then (2) permute a server target on the WSS Web Admin
interface.

We are also going to search for a good tool to list all cross-platform
installed DB technoliges in the hope of one that can tell the difference
between Microsoft Access, MSDE, SQL Server Express and SQL Server databases.
Hopefully it will sense MYSQL, Oracle and other major platforms as well.

I'll post here on the results of our tool search to let everyone know if we
find anything.

Thanks for your input. We'll try this solution path after exhausting the
current solutions paths on our 'stack' :-)
