The only cases I\ve had recently where users who have been able to access
can\t are

a) they got a new machine and the login was assuming
Name=machinename(backslash)username rather than
domainname(backslash)username

(having problems with my keyboard which has switched to US after I clicked
something by mistake!)

b) something in the link between their network and the one where the WSS
server is changed and their machine is now saying
Name=otherdomain(backslash)username even though they have changed nothing
themselves.

This second was for users local to the server only though.

In both cases getting them to delete machinename/otherdomain and replace it
with their usual domainname cleared the problem.
