Forget the custom field idea, I want to edit the view (current view) to just
display the date portion of the "Begin" field. I am almost 100% positive
this is possible. However, I go into the "edit current view" (current view
is the name of the view that is being displayed for events on the main page)
and the fields are greyed out. At the top of the screen is the text "To
customize this view further, use a Web page editor compatible with Windows
SharePoint Services. " That is exactly what I need to do! Unfortunately I
am having a hard time finding out what file it is I need to modify. Any
help greatly appreciated. Thanks!
