Hello,

This sounds interesting to me because I am working at a similar
project. Short definition of my project: Using WSS as document content
management system for an existing system (which is created in Delphi)
using the WSS object model and (custom) Web Services. WSS Site and web
parts won't be used. Functionality which will be (almost already is)
implemented in the Delphi program is: Full text search, check-in/out,
add/delete documents, save custom metadata related to the documents,
WSS Layout in "save as dialog" when saving MS office related documents
at WSS and more.

Connection to WWS will be with Custom Web Services, which are build on
the WSS Object Model, created in Visual Studio .NET (C#). I think a
WebDav connection will be used for saving documents, to activate the
WSS "save as dialog" layout.

The Client is Delphi which will consume the Web Services.

I am now working for 10 weeks with this project and it has to be
finished about 5 weeks.

Maybe I can help you with some things…and maybe you can help me with
some with…would be nice.

Greetings,
