Hi Halvor,
The option you set in the AD works when you logon to a windows pc. Then the
user is asked to change its password. When logging on to a WSS site, the
current password should be used, it has nothing to do with that AD option.

What you could do in WSS is to let users change their passwords in the site
settings, but this only works when your WSS server is installed with AD auto
creation mode...
