As no-one has come in since I first looked at this...
Given that the search routine used in WSS is standard SQL Server 2K
Full-text search, you'll probably find that the only people who know who to
twitch it hang out in an SQL Server newsgroup - preferably one for Full-Text
Search (!) if such a one exists.
