As you are talking about subwebs, can you confirm that you are using Windows
SharePoint Services (WSS) (this newsgroup) and not SharePoint Team Services
(STS)(microsoft.public.sharepoint.teamservices).
Subweb is the term used in STS for what in WSS is called sub-sites.
Can you also please state the Operating System being used for your Exchange
2000 Server - again it would be more likely that this is Windows 2K Server
in which case WSS will not run at all on theat server only WSS.
