A Call To All Eperts:

I am preparing a new Windows 2003 Standard Server for our Intranet. I need to install and setup both Sharepoint Windows Services and FrontPage 2002 Server Extensions on this server. I wish to take advantage of the Sharepoint Windows Services and would like to run them on the same server. I will be using MS SQL Server 2000Sp3a on the same server, in other words this will be a one server configuration. I have the following questions.

1. Can someone point me to documented best practices and procedures for these task.

2. If no docutmentation is available, what are the steps?

a. Should I install the Sharepoint Windows Services first on the Default Web site and then install the FrontPage 2002 Server Extensions on another Web site hosting my current Intranet built with FrontPage 2002 Server Extensions?

b. Should I install FrontPage 2002 Server Extensions on the Default Web site and then Sharepoint Windows Services on an alternate Web site?

3. Can you even install the Sharepoint Windows Services to a Web site other than the default?

I would welcome any and all professional input and suggestsions from those of you who have faced a simlar situation in the past. I have seen comments posted by Mike Walsh and others simlar to this in previous postings but cannot find their comments on this news group.

Thank you in advance for your help.
