Hi Peter,

There is no immediately apparent difference between this machine and the
others.
That said, I fully expect that a re-install of Office would clean up the
problems.
I would greatly prefer another option, though because of two factors.
1. We have had a handfull of instances where Office/IE/SharePoint ceases
to function. Most likely after some sort of change such as a patch to IE.
Being that Microsoft issues critical patches at least every other
month, re-installing office a few times after each is not real attractive.
2. The machine in question belongs to the Director of Network Services
(and my boss).

We had some problems after rolling our IE 6 SP 1 using an IEAK build which
were solved by re-registering MSHTML.DLL.
This was required on 1/10 machines. Annoying as this was, it was better
than entirely re-installing IE or OFfice.
There is a KB article outlining a bug in IEAK builds.
I had hoped for something more along these lines.
Is there any way of determinig what conditions cause this message to be
issued.
A DLL or some method or property not found.
???
