I am running Windows 2003 Server Web edition...there is no
way to assign roles as it is an application server
(default) WSS is installed specifying the default. Active
directory does not appy to the web server edition and it
is not a Domain controller as the web edition is a web
server exclusively and one cannot set it as any network
domain controller... I am totally perplexed
