Connecting WSS from MS ACCESS 2000-2003

I'm working on an application written in MSAccess 2000.
I want to link and update some lists in a WSS. This works
fine from MS-ACCESS 2003 but from MS-ACCESS 2000-2002 I
get a message saying that I don't have enough rights to
do that connection.

Anyone out there who have the knowledge on how to connect
from within ACCESS 2000/2002
