Hi Joe,
When entering a path to manage, you'll want to specify the path relative to
the root web (not the file system path). For instance, if the folder
containing your files were http://server/myfiles you would enter /myfiles
NOT D:/test2/myfiles
I don't think you want to exclude the root as a managed path. You would then
not be able to use WSS functionality in that root site at all. In this case,
you'd want to use FrontPage 2003 to import your files into the site.
