I've tried several files, they're not very big. I've also
tried creating a new Word document which also hangs the browser.

I haven't been able to find any authentication windows on my
machine. I'm not sure if that's it.

I forgot to add that when it does hang the drop down stays visible
on the screen no matter what application I switch to. It doesn't
go away until I kill the IE task.
