\viewkind4\uc1\pard\f0\fs20 Hi Jay,
\par
\par Nice to hear back from you.
\par
\par If only certain sites have this problem, then you should only remove/restore those specific sites.
\par
\par There are a number of root causes that may only be determined though forensic research involving the event, iis and transaction logs from the system. Rebuilding the sites is the fastest resolution.
\par
\par Best,
\par Dana

\par Are you speaking about delting just the offending sites and then using
\par stsadmin to restore just those sites or removing all sites and restoring them?
\par
\par We add one to two projects weekly to the server so the issue is not in the
\par creation of new sites but in the sites for certain projects. I found that
\par the ones affect seem to have a fairly large number of Issues in the list.
\par However there are some other projects with large Issues list that aren't
\par affected. In your experience what is the general cause of this. I would say
\par that if there is some record limit that is impacting performace it should
\par occur with all large Issues lists not just certain ones.
