The present Sharepoint products (that came out in October 2003) require
Windows Server 2003.
An earlier SharePoint product (SharePoint Team Services - this newsgroup)
does work under Win 2000 but I wouldn't at this late stage recommend
installing it. (You'll have to buy a copy of FP 2002 or 'Office XP including
FP 2002' to get STS)
Just wait till you have a Win Server 2003 and install its successor -
Windows SharePoint Services.
