Before we go on can you please re-state the product you are using.

Windows 2003 is not the supported environment for SharePoint Team Services
but is the supported environment for Windows SharePoint Services. I suspect
you are not using STS but are using Windows SharePoint Services.

If you are in fact using the new (released Oct 2003 and available as
download) Windows SharePoint Services product please post your WSS questions
(including this one) to the WSS newsgroup at

microsoft.public.sharepoint.windowsservices

(SharePoint Team Services came out in 2001 and is only available on FP 2002
CDs or Office XP with FP 2002 CDs)
