If only if it were that easy - you can't imagine how long it took me to
persuade someone to give us a link via Newsgroups for Windows SharePoint
    Services.

I will however take this message from you as a reason for trying to change
    the situation

As for Team Services, Developer - well "Team Services" is not (part of) the
name of the newer product but is a part of the name of the older product -
also even when following a Team Services, Developer link, people actually
arrive at a newsgroup that is clearly labelled
    microsoft.public.sharepoint.teamservices.caml and not
microsoft.sharepoint.windowsservices.developer which ought to give some
    ground for thought at least.

What I *have* already (at least a couple of times) suggested is that this
.caml newsgroup should be dropped completely and that there ought to be a
new newsgroup called something like sharepoint.webparts.programming - the
thinking being that windowsservices.developer is far too general and all
that would happen is that people would post almost all messages to both
    windowsservices newsgroups.

    Still with me ?

You will have noticed how far I have got so far with that suggestion!

But as said I will give it another go.

(Harsh: I hope not. Although there is the wonder when I - in almost every
message - say "this is the wrong newsgroup for ..." and still the messages
roll in. Don't people read existing messages before they post their first
    one?)
