Now, why would editing the master page do this?
FYI, if I switch to any other master page in the master page gallery,
it works fine.

Thanks, but since this was a server error, I thought it was a more
general/technical question. I was thinking I made have majorly
screwed something up in the server config.
BTW, I did not post this same topic to the customization group, I
only posted it to this group.
