Re: Map file://servername/location/ to http:// does not work in SSP server map

The search result is showing where the files are which
is file//[[fileserverneme]... They are not on a web server,
so they would not say http://sitename/....

Many people assume that sharepoint creates a web applicaiton
around files that are stored on the file system (like it manages
links to the file system), but that is not the case.
