Yes everything is the same as the other two nodes and that is what is confusing.
It is being installed on VMware ESX Virtual Machine, but that should not be an issue, at least as far as I have read.
The frustration lies with the typically non-inforamtive/misleading error messages from MS.
Permissions required are for Domain account, SQL access, and membership in Local Admin group on WFE, all of which are covered.

It seems to be a permission error..
Are you installing the WFE server with the same account as you did with the other servers in the farm?

I have added the account used to the Local Admin I have tested the access to the back with a ODBC connection to verify perms on the SQL server/database.
The MOSS is pre SP1 and the current setup is 2 WFE( MS NLB), 1 Central Admin/Indexer, and SQL2K5 Cluster
I have had partial configuration attempts but 90% just fail with error below. By partial, I mean Application Pools are created and one Web site is created but mysite and a couple of others aren't pulled over.
I am really confused by the last line in the error message which speaks to the MyComputer Zone????
Has anyone seen or heard of this problem before?
