Re: Permissions for a Site -> Only x user can access to a site

All your original question seemed to be asking is

Can I have a group of users with permission to access Site 1 but who don't have permission to access Site2?

Sites can have specific permissions.

So you can specify exactly who is allowed to access Site 1 (one list which can include individual users; Site Groups; AD Groups) and who is allowed to access Site 2 ( a different list of individual users; Site Groups; AD Groups)

Thusfor instance the list for Site 1 could include Site Group 1 but not Site Group 2 and the list for Site 2 could include Site Group 2 but not Site Group 1. (or AD Groups or individual users)

Does that make it clearer?

If not someone else will have to come in.

Hello,
We have created 3 departmental sites on our MOSS 2007.
We need to create 3 groups of users on each site, and add user to this
sites.
We just do this:
Site1 UserGroup1
Site2 UserGroup2
Site3 UserGroup3
My question is:
Is possible to assign permissions to a user or group users in order to
allow the access to a only one site?
For example:
Peter is on UserGroup1 -> Only access to Site1, never to Site2
Paul is on UserGroup2 -> Only access to Site2, never to Site1
Thanks !!

Sorry but I don´t understand you what is "Standard stuff" is a kind of
