I think this would help some one, I tried to figure out the reason but
could not succeed and after a list of test and trial methods I got it
working. It works only if you deploy content from any site to a blank
site .

If source site is publishing/team/meeting or whatever, the destination
site should always be a blank site. Initially I seleected my job to
deploy all the content and later ran the job with check option to
update only modified/new content.
