Hi,
Where do I modify thestylesheetfor all MOSS 2007 "My Site"? I have
customized thestylesheetfor the portal and WSS sites but don't see
anywhere to modify the styles for all users "My Site". Modify the
styles for the portal does not feed down to "My Site".
Can somebody point me in the correct direction please?
Hi there,
the "My Site" is a seperated section from the portal server.
Try to open theMySite-Directory in your SPD and you'll find the
masterpage aswell as the fitting css-file.

Thanks for replying. How to open the "My Site" directory in SPD?- Hide quoted text -

I think there are 2 ways to do that:
1) Open SPD and choose 'open website' enter the url of your MySite
dir. something likehttp://yourmossdev/MySiteandhitthe open button.
2) Open a MySite in your Internet Explorer and hit File > Open with
Mircosoft Office Sharepoint Designer

Neither of your suggestion work for me.
1) Enteringhttp://sharepointserver/mysitejustopenshttp://sharepointserver
site. It does not open any "my sites" web site.
2) Opening a MySite in Internet Explorer opens that specific MySite in
Internet Explorer - not SPD. When I open a specific MySite in SPD
there is still no style*** visible that I could potentially modify.
I'm trying to modify the styles for all "My Sites" so I'm back to the
question at the start of this post - where are the styles for all "My
Sites"?
Thanks.- Hide quoted text -

Mh, I'm sorry for that. it worked fine for me.
Maybe these links will guide you in the right direction:

For anyone who's interested - the way I ended up changing the styles
was to spend 3 days wasting my time routing around in a folder
hierarchy ... searching through the folder list in SharePoint
Designer ... fiddling with code in master pages ... fiddling with
styles copied from core.css into custom.css. Then I found
default.aspx in the SPSPERS folder on the sharepoint server. I added
my custom styles to the top of the default.aspx page and hey-presto
"my sites" were skinned in the way I want them. Now I have to go
searching for how to apply styles to the "My Profile" page ...
Thank you Microsoft for wasting so much of my time by not providing an
easy way to apply a skin to the whole portal. Wonderful!
