Re: Sharepoint 2007 alerts failing after database restore



Read Mark's message above specifically regarding number 5 as this is
the main fix for this problem. The cause of my issue was moving our
sharepoint installation to a new server as well as moving the
databases. This process left the SchedSubscription and
ImmedSubscription tables in the contentdb with the old server
information in the field [Server URL].

One thing to note: You do NOT have to delete all of the entries here
forcing the users to recreate all of their alerts. Simply change this
field's information to your current server's info and voila alerts
start flowing.
