Custom Role Provider in Moss 2007

Hi,

I have a different scenario with me, where i need to implement custom
role provider in moss 2007. Here i need all users still to be fetch
from AD but only roles are custom defined in my sql database. I need
to use windows authentication for users and only for roles i needs to
implement custom role provider. Any help for this is approach is
greatly appreciated.
