Hi,

I am setting up a new Server 2003 x64 box with SQL 2005 installed and
MOSS 2007 on a Server 2003 Std box.

I messed up on the configuration of MOSS (app pool permissions) the
first time through and had to reinstall. The reinstall went smoothly
and everything is working like a champ. Except I'm getting SQL audit
failures every 2 minutes filling my event logs on my x64 box. Right
now, I'm assuming they're comming from the old install.

Does anyone know what might be going on...or at least how to increase
the detail of the SQL auditing so I can determine what DB it's trying
to gain access to, etc. to help me determine what's going on?

I've checked the App Pools after the reinstall and none of them use
the Network Service account except for the Default App Pool and Office
Server App Pool.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Check the SharePoint Trace logs at C:\Program Files\Common Files
\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\12\LOGS\ (or similar). It's
probably the account used by Search...- Hide quoted text -

Thanks for your reply. I can't believe I forgot about the MOSS
logs...see how often I need to play with this? :~) Turns out it was
the Microsoft Single Sign On service that was crushing the logs. Got
it all taken care of now.

Thanks for your help.
