indexing jive forums

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Hi I am trying to index a jive forum and a kb into sharepoint, but it
only gets as far as the first page and does not go any deeper. Has
anyone experienced this issue before? There does not seem to be a
robot file as I have checked the server. Other forums (eg. php based)
index fine. The crawl settings seem to be fine as well.
