Re: WSS 3.0 - Reconnect Config DB?

The Project Server newsgroup is microsoft.public.project.server - that looks the best bet for this question.

The (old) WSS newsgroup is microsoft.public.sharepoint.windowsservices.

This (.portalserver) newsgroup is for SPS 2003 (and MOSS 2007) not for WSS, but in any case this seems more like a Proj Server question that a WSS question to me hence the first suggestion.

Hello

Here is the situation:

1) Installed MS Project Server 2007 which also installed WSS 3.0

2) Everything was working fine.

2) Someone removed (but did not delete) the sharepoint central admin
config database within WSS Central
Admin(SharePoint_AdminContent_9ccf90b4-6993-4fcc-a4af-d7aa4147a074)

3) We're now unable to connect to our central admin site

4) Tried uninstalling WSS and Project Server 2007 but the uninstaller
just exits with no warning after a few mins.

5) Tried running the repair for WSS and also for Project Server 2007
but they just give the following error in the log. :
