I've been spending all day allready on this issue, and not getting
any
further. I really hope someone can get me back on track for this
issue.

SPS 2003 SP2 on WIN2K3 R2 and MSSQL 2000 SP4 (both enterprise)

I configured the sites, and several web services within the web site
to allow access through Integrated Windows Authentication. The
problem
is that this only works locally. When i access the Portal, or any of
the Web Services from an RDP session with the server it works. When i
access the Portal from any other machine, it just fails.

Sometimes i get a 401.1, and other times i get a 401.2.

When i configure the web site to be accessible using Basic
Authentication it does work!

Any help is greatly appreciated !

PS. Is this the right group? Any advise on another group?

What are you seeing in your event logs? You should be receiving some
kind of failed authentication attempt on your server. I was seeing
something similar when I was using Kerberos and my servers were not
configured properly.

Hello Jeff, thanks for replying.

The logs don't show anything usefull. Neither the Application, System
or Security logs contain any entry regarding this issue.
