sharepoint 2007 confusion

We have received our Jan 2007 MS Licensing CD's. One of the CD's is

Micrsofot Office SharePoint Server 2007
for Standard (32 and 64 bit)

Currently, we have a sharepoint 2003 portal website in the DMZ
accessible only from the internet. According to this:

http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepointserver/FX101865111033.aspx

....I"d need Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 for Internet sites
to set up a site similar to the 2003 website we have now.

Is that true? If it is, does the CD I mentioned about apply to Internet
sites?
