Mike,
I suppose it's better than nothing. Guess we'll have to wait and hope
something comes online.
My feeling on it is that in a 1hr presentation you get a very broad
overview of a topic which would take alot longer to figure out by doing
tutorials. And also seeing where to click within the UI is very useful.
Often tutorials say something like 'Click the Update button' with no
reference as to where to find the update button :)
In messing around with dotnet 3 the webcasts are great with this as the
documentation is still on the way.
Since MS is trying to push their products the quicker they can get the
general developer population exposed to their products the more
beneficial it is to them (in padding the pocket).
There is a large audience trying to get at those webcasts. Perhaps a
site with adverts around the edges would be enough financial motivation
for MS to put them up somewhere.
Thanks for the reply
GR
