let me start from your last sentance - there is no "table for contacts"
- sharepoint does not work like that. you should not be looking to
directly read from the SQL.
regardless, what you are trying to do can be easily achieved with web
part connections. you should go to the page where you want to display
the information (I suggest you create one - go to the "create" page and
select "web part page") and add the two web parts for the two lists
side by side.
Make sure both web parts are displaying the field that is used to
connect the lists. otherwise it wont work.
Now, use the drop down menu from one web part to connect it to the
other one based on the shared field. You should be able to figure it
out by yourself from here on.

Hi,
I've created two contact lists in my SPS, the 1st one is the "Experts" and
the other "Organizations". The experts contains persons and their contact
information while the organizations contains org contact info. I did this so
I can create a column in the experts contacts that fetches the organization's
name from the organizations. It's like two tables, the "experts" is linked to
the "organization" via org name field, I have successfully done this, but now
I want to create a view/output that will let me show the data from both
tables/contacts based on the relationship. I hope I did not confuse you. If
there is no way to do this in SPS I can do it in SQL I just need to know the
table name for the Contacts.
