The web site says that the web part contacts them. (At least that's my
understanding of the text)

To ask what address (and port?) it is using for this you could send e-mail
to arjan.nataraj@xxxxxxxxx which is the address on the contact page.

The app needs to connect to the internet but as I am behind a proxy

think the app is looking for a user auth to access the internet so I am
