SharePoint Segration and Security Settings
Hello..
We have two separate companies sharing one office and network. We have used
file permissions to limit access to certain folders on the file server; that
works great.
We now are using Sharepoint Portal Server more frequently. At first I made
the top level accessible to all users (we share AD as well). Now some people
want to segregate the sites so some sites are off-limits to people down the
hall in the other company. In other words block access the way we do to
folders on the fileserver.
Is there an easy way to manage security on lower level sites but still
allowing all access to the top level portal?
