Re: Cannot restore backups to dev. server.... Real nightmare

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

ok a quick follow up:

Managed to restore the SQL databases for one of my portal's by hand.
Then I restored the portal to the virtual server using sharepoint
central admin. IIS and sharepoint seem to be configured correctly, but
I still get "this page cannot be displayed".

So I went ahead and created a new portal on a different virtual server
(in IIS) - the new portal gives the same error.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks
