Submit to Poral Area - please help me

Hi

I am using Sharepoint Portal 2003.

The layout of my page is based on 6 different modules

Websites (template - Links)
News (template - announcement)
Resources (template - document library)
Newsletters (template - document library)
Events (template - events)
Contacts (template - contacts)

There are many pages that are based on the layout above. They are
children pages which feed the information to the parent page. In the
parent page, I use 'Grouping and Ordering' web parts and use 'add
listing' by manually pick the items from the children page and
categorised them by groups. For example, for a document, I right click
on the document I wish to add as listing and choose Submit To Portal.

The problem is that I could not do this with the templates such as
Links, Announcements and Events.

Could you please anyone please tell me whether what I try to acheive is
doable or is there a workaround?

Thank you very much. It is quite urgent and I appreciate your time

Peddie
