Adding a webpart to MySite template

I need to add a webpart to My Site template so administrator does not have
to add it for each user. I think that there could be two places where I need
to make changes.

onet.xml
default.aspx

Please guide me on where and what sort of changes need to be made.

I also want to know on how to get the following attriubutes of an existing
custom web part:
TagPrefix
Namespace
Assembly
Version
PublicKeyToken

Any sort of help would be highly appreciated.

Thanks.
