How to setup direct access to sites

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

I have two sites on the same server. One under \\server\site\division1 and
the other under \\server\site\division2
I would like to setup direct access to the users of each division using a
single url.
Users from division1 will go to division1.company.com
Users from division2 will go to division2.company.com
