Restore Issue - My Site

I am having very little luck with this.

I have done a restore of my portal and WSS setup onto another Dev
Server.

I used a user that has God like permissions (have checked and
re-checked). The Backup worked well.

But....

When I tried to open the home portal site I got the following message.

"The security validation for this page has timed out. Click Back in
your Web browser, refresh the page, and try your operation again. "

I know I have the permissions. This error only occurs on the pages that
has any webparts that are connected to the My Site ie My Links, My
alerts.

When the My site is clicked I get the same error.

Any Ideas anyone.
