As you already found out, SharePoint Portal Server 2003 comes with a
MHTML IFilter configured in the registry by default.
The MHT IFilter from Citeknet is mainly for MSN Desktop Search user, as
none are configured by default (at least with the current beta
version). The only think it does is duplicating EML IFilter registry
key.
Anyway, all the IFilters on http://www.citeknet.com are and will remain
free. There are no plans to make them commercial.
