Extranet

Hi,
I have setup an SPS server. Users internally just go to the specified link
and access the resources they have been granted access to. This is all fine.
The problem comes now I want to use it as an Extranet as well. I have a step
by step guide which also works fine. However because I have changed from
Integrated to Basic Authentication and selected the require SSL option
internal users are now prompted for a username and password to access the
site and everytime they want to save a document. Somebody told me to check
Integrated Authentication in IIS but that deosn't fix it as the internal
users are still required to use SSL.
Basically can someone tell me if I can have the best of both worlds i.e.
internal users will use Integrated Authentication and http NOT https whilst
external users will be required to use SSL.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help
.
