Move SPS2003 to new web sever
Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry
We currently have SPS2003 on two servers, one database, one web. I need to
move the web server to a new box. Is it possible to install SPS2003 on the
new web server, point SPS2003 to the current configuration database and add
the new webserver under component assignments. Then remove the current
webserver from the component assignments and stop IIS on the that box.
Or, is it more involved than this?
