Thanks for the info re disabling the option.
I agree that Office 2003 is a good product, both individually and in terms
of enhanced Sharepoint integration, which is why the customer are upgrading
from Office 2000 to 2003. However they plan to upgrade to Office 2003
Standard rather than Professional, this is the only feature that they will
notice as being different between the two editions. The customer wishes to
standardise the MS product set across the organisation, so they do not want
to have 2003 Pro for the users who are accessing Sharepoint, and 2003
standard for all non-Sharepoint users. I have dicussed this with our own
computer admininstration staff, and they agree that this single feature being
different between the two editions makes NO sense whatsoever.
I just cant understand the rationale for this position!
