have you installed the OLAP Drivers on the SPS server?
Run the ptslite.exe application.

Second point
do you use basic authentication (clear/text) or integrated NT?
in the second case, you need to configure kerberos delegation to allow your
SPS server to delegate the user against the olap server cubes.
(there is an article on the microsoft web site about how to do this)
