I basically did this last week, but repeated in after your post. Still got
the same results, but in the process discovered what should have been
apparent: the anonymous login was set up right in both places, however, the
passwords have to exist (can't be null) and they, of course, must be
identical on both the local server and in IIS. Once I synched them up, voila!
Thanks for the assistance. Still have one more problem with remote web
changes using FP, but will post another tomorrow.
