We talked with Microsoft yesterday about our issues and you can't use Domain
Locals with Domain Globals assigned to them. There was a white paper
published for 2001 but is also supposed to apply 2003 but doesn't say in the
associated applications that 2003 has the same issues. Not to mention in
the Admin Guide for 2003 it states you can do security this way and its the
right way to do it.
With that said we now have 280 DL groups with 280 DG groups. We have
inputted 280 DL groups in 120 of our Portal Areas and Sites and now have to
do the painstaking proccess of changing them from DL to DG.
Hope this helps!
