Maybe someone can give my some ideas on how to
troubleshoot my problem. I have Sharepoint 2003 server
running extensive website with web parts and .NET
components. Lately my users have been complaining that
it takes almost 15s to load the start page. I can
duplicate this on the server with following differences:

- when using server name (or DNS name) w3wp.exe takes
500,000 K of memory
- when using local host it takes 12,000 K

Anyone has ides what could be causing this behavior?

Lester,
