This error pops up when trying to install the backwards-
compatible document library for SPS2003:
"Setup failed while installing sub-component Information
Store Services with error code 0xC1037989"
The installation of the portal itself went smoothly and
is installed on a Windows 2003 Server in a domain
environment. SQL Server 2000 is also installed on the
server.
Neither Exchange Server nor Microsoft Office Extensions
are installed on the server.
A look at the "Exchange Server Setup Progress.log" shows
this:
