Okay, I have portal installed and was able to connect to the Sharepoint
configuration db successfully. Now, here is my next problem:

It says in the List and manage portal sites page that my server is already
set up (makes sense cause how would the db know that it bit the dust). I
need to get that name back in the portal, but since the webs aren't extended
yet, I should delete that portal site and re-add it right?

Well, it won't let me do that giving this message:
Deletion of the portal site failed. For more details, see the portal site
deletion log.

Where might I find that and what is the solution here?

Thanks...stressed,
Derek
